Offered here for your consideration is an. Old or Antique Rouen French Faience Pottery Candlestick. It dates from the early 20th. It is in overall fair as-pictured used estate condition with a repaired chip to the Bishop’s hat, a drilled hole in the base and candle cup (was previously mounted as a lamp), glaze losses and small chips to nose and other spots, and a hairline crack with flaking to the candle cup. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, fine and light glaze and surface scratches here and there, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. The base is marked Rouen 1785.
