Offered is this lovely antique French faience plate. It features a French maiden in traditional Provincial dress on a creamy white background. Under her is marked ” Guyenne” which was the former region of Southwestern France which is now known as Province. It has sweet blue and red flowers around the rim. The glaze around the rim is a bit uneven. It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has a small fire line from the kiln as seen in photo which does not detract from the beauty of this piece. It measures 10 inches in diameter. This will look beautiful in any room of your home.
