Fine Antiques & Objects. Antique French Tin Glazed Plate. A charming French provincial tin glazed faience shallow dish or plate. It is painted with a central bird with bold patterns around the rim. It is decorated in traditional colours and the glaze is slightly off white. The foot rim has pierced holes to allow it to be hung. Early to mid 19th century. Very attractive and great rural charm. Very good for period, slight glaze chips to the rim and minor wear. Some kiln adhesions to the underside and air bubbles in the glaze from production and usual for the period.
