Here is a beautiful antique French Faience cabinet plate made by the Sarreguemine Majolica factory in the east of France. The makers mark places this plate to have been made around 1890. The back of the plate calls this series “Marines”, I call it’Moored at Low Tide’ since you see the boats in the foreground tilted and sitting on the sand. This will make a great addition to your Nautical decor. It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has overall glaze crazing which is expected with a piece this old. It measures almost 9 inches in diameter. This will be a lovely addition to your collection. Be sure to see all of my items.
