Beautiful antique French faience pottery hand-painted inkstand with bronze fitting and original glass insert. Features hand- painted flowers with two handles, with painted x makers mark on base, estimated early 19th century. Measures 6 1/4″ handle to handle x 4 3/4″ diameter x 3 3/4 high and is in Excellent condition, there are a few fleabites to the glaze on the handle as well as oxidation to the bronze commensurate with age, please see all photos.
