Antique Decorative Inkwell French Rouen Faience Double Well + Covered Storage Heavy pottery/earthenware desktop inkwell with two buckets and a heart shaped storage compartment. This footed piece is complete with 2 buckets and 3 lids. The 2 ink buckets appear to be crafted from different material one has a dark gray base and the other a light tan base. The bucket with the gray base does have some crazing. Otherwise the 2 buckets appear the same in size and color. I have called this piece antique but I really have no idea when it was made. Please view the description and photos of the piece and it’s markings to form your own judgment of it’s age. Everything is in nice condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
