It has a white ground with a slightly scalloped edge; it is further decorated with a green, purple and blue border. At the center is a hot air balloon and its two passengers each holding a flag. It has nice attention to detail throughout, and there is a partial raised pottery mark on the back but is hard to make out. The condition is good, there is a craquelure pattern in the white glaze and two small chips on the bottom edge.
