Entirely hand-painted French faience dinner plate in Gien’s Rambouillet pattern designed by Jean Berthollle in 1955, for the President of France, features a pheasant couple. Marked “Gien France” with the company’s castle mark.
Antique French Blue Faience Plate – Fruit Basket c. The plate measures 8 5/8 inches in diameter. No cracks but there are a few rim chips that are pictured. Also, there are a couple of rough spots on the back from the firing process.
