Rare Vintage Gien Octagon Footed Fruit Bowl French. Mark is from 1860 to 1871. This lovely dish is the most unique item I have come across in a very long tide. It is octagon shape and painted inside and out, which leads me to believe that it was intended as a statement piece for display. Then look at those feet, they are so strange yet delightful. Are they bird feet? Do you know anything about them? The detail on this is amazing. I hope my pictures do it justice. IMPORTANT: This item is damaged.
