You will be hard pressed to ever find another set of eight Antique Hautin-Boulanger Choisy-Le-Roi Faience Plates featuring charming French village scenes, memorializing the trades and public community of French life of years gone by. Each faience artistic plate is a masterpiece, full of life and vitality so expressive of French spirit. Each plate in this set is 8 1/2 diameter. Condition is amazing, the surfaces and images are clear, unblemished. There is some loss of gold piping on the outer edges of the plates, not surprising as the plates are 100 years or more old with the Hautin-Boulanger mark on each plate that was used after 1878 and the company closed its doors in 1934. Would make great conversation starters, or wonderful plates to hang in the French kitchen.
