Welcome to my Store. Rare French Longwy 18.5 Earthenware Plate With Enamel Horses Decor 20th Century. It is truly a masterpiece, a beautiful original, and one of a kind. Beautiful faience dish with Longwy enamels in vibrant colors depicting Two Kings of France on horseback in a confrontational position, “Entrevue Royale”. Decorated by Paul Mignon and enhanced by AJ, Albert Kirchtetter around 1940. On the back, we find the stamp’Émaux de Longwy, art workshop. Limited edition of 150 copies, this being the 6th, making it one of the early pieces in the production. Generously sized at 47cm and highly decorative due to its subject and colors.
