Original Antique French Faience Digoin Moutarde Bocquet Yvetot 1735 Mustard Jar. Original and not vintage. Comes from a collection of French 18th century Faience. Made in Normandy France. Earthenware with a soft paste tin glaze , hand painted in deep blue and red. Possible original wooden spoon which shows age (has some oxidation and looks hand carved). I can only find one example similar and that is in a Mustard Museum. Other similar ones are reproductions but done differently. Height with lid is 3 1/2 inches and 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
