Offered is this lovely old faience plate from Longwy, France. Marked on the back with a stamped makers mark and also one impressed in the clay. The pattern name is Vx ROUEN also known as Vieux Rouen or Old Rouen. It features a central theme of a cornucopia or corne of abundance. It is associated with the harvest, prosperity or spiritual abundance. This plate measures 8.75 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition for its great age. I did take photos of a pin point and a glaze skip. There are no chips or cracks. Add this to your personal collection, Home Decor or give as a fabulous antique gift.
