Lovely early pair of antique hand molded and hand painted French faience plates. They have a pretty border of foliate design that surround a man and a woman dressed in traditional French garb. They are shallow plates and sometimes called’pancake’ plates. These may be early Quimper plates. Dimensions: 8.75″Diameter x 1.5″H. Condition: very good, very light edge fritting.
