Antique/Vintage French Faience Pottery Pitcher & Egg Shaped Jar. Absolutely stunning and gorgeous! Both are beautifully crafted and hand painted! Both items are in excellent condition! The egg shaped jar has no major chips, or cracks, just has a small shallow chip on rim of upper half, but nothing that is very noticeable or that detracts from the integrity or beauty of the piece, and the pitch has no cracks and no major chips, just a few small knicks on the base, and couple tiny fleabites on the rim of the spout, but again nothing uncommon for antique and vintage faience, and nothing noticeable or that detracts from the integrity or beauty of the piece. I do not know the exact age of these pieces, but I do know my grandmother acquired them some time in the 40s/50s, and she always believed that they were made some time in the early 1910s to 1920. The egg shaped jar appears to me, to be a bit older than the pitcher. Dimensions approximately as follows 4 × 2.75 × 2.75 inches for egg shaped jar, and 5.75 × 4.5 × 6.5 inches for the pitcher.
