Offered is this lovely antique plate. It was made at the Saint Clement faience factory and hand painted by Pierre Dubois. He started working at this factory in 1917, he painted this plate in 1920. Done in the’Rouen’ style with the cornucopia or corne of abundance with flowers comming out of it. It is associated with the harvest, prosperity or spiritual abundance. This plate measures 9.5 inches wide and is in excellent condition for being almost 100 years old with no chips or cracks. There are stilt marks on the back from the kiln which is normal.
