Antique Old Strasbourg Handpainted Faience Plate c. The handpainted front is beautiful but the back of the plate tells us its story. Please review the photos of the back and note the kiln marks and proclivity of the the glaze demonstrating old world technique. It measures 9 in diameter and has no chips or cracks. It does have some modest wear around the front rim and the back shows us when it was created. These are more difficult to find now!
