A lovely hand-painted French faience Croisille motif plate, made by HenRiot Quimper. It’s 8 wide and features a portrait of a Breton man standing in a field. The plate has three reserves decorated with pink and yellow flowers with green and orange accents. The reserves alternate with a blue and red quilted motif. The scalloped edges are trimmed yellow and blue. The plate is in good condition with no cracks or repairs and vibrant color. It exhibits some production-related anomalies commonly found in antique faience.
