Antique French Faience ” Veuve Perrin ” Jewelry Chest of ” Punch & Judy ” scene on top with a man playing a violin.. I see in a edge corner on one of the drawers a tiny restore to a corner flake when magnified.. The rest looks fine.. The handles on drawers seem perfect as is the very shiny glaze all over… Measures; 6 ” long x 4 ” wide x 4 3/8 high….. Amazing piece of Art work…. Very heavy substantial weight.. I posted this a few minutes ago.. But then I checked my other Veuve Perrin items and they are all marked with V P in black.. There is a difference.. The VP on this chest is not black either.. So I do think this was made after Veuve Perrin closed their company in 1803.. I was a textile designer for Waverly Fabrics so I should know the difference.. It is still quite lovely and unique though I believe it was made around 1865 or so.. So I will now reduce… The item “Antique French Faience Veuve Perrin Jewelry Pottery Chest” is in sale since Sunday, October 27, 2019.
