A superb antique French faience Quimper lidded butter bowl dish with attached underplate, circa 1920. Maker’s mark on reverse. This charming dish has a hand painted Breton man and floral pattern in vibrant traditional Quimper colors. It has lovely scalloped edges and a twisted branch handle and is a wonderful early piece of Quimper pottery. DIMENSIONS 6″W × 6″D × 3.5H.
