A faience figurine of a street vendor possibly from a Cris de Paris series made by one of the French faience makers in the 19th century I believe. She is nicely dressed and standing on a grass and dirt base. She is hand painted very nicely and of good quality. Better than many I have seen. The piece is in great condition with a glaze flaw to her nose as well as some minor glaze and paint flaws but she display superbly! A line to the glaze on the left side of the cap on her head from when she was made. The figurine is marked with an N under a crown in black as shown as well as an incised 13. The figurine is 6.125 inches tall, 3.125 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. If you like my goodies have a look at my other auctions for a lot more top maker pieces like KPM , Sevres and so on.
