Offered is this very unique antique French faience plate. Made in the south of the Burgundy region in the town of Charles. This factory opened in 1844 by Hyppolite Prost and was taken over by the Molin family in 1892. This plate is marked on the back with the “M” and the Flower design of the Molin family, “Charles, Peint Main” (hand Painted) and the number “414”. It features a blue lined scalloped rim with yellow, blue and red flowers with green leaves. The center features a signed fire breathing dragon. It measures 9.25 inches in diameter. It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has 3 stilt marks on the back from the kiln. This will look fantastic in any room of your home.
