Offered is this beautiful antique French faience butter pat from the 1800’s. Unmarked, we believe this to be made by Luneville or one of the faience factories of the east of France. It features a scalloped rim trimmed in red and yellow then combed in red. The central theme is a wild flower bouquet featuring a fanning tulip, just beautiful. It measures 4.5 inches long and 3.75 wide. It is in excellent condition for its great age, there are some nibbles on the bottom foot rim that I tried to get in the last photo.
