A wonderful antique French faience vase in a striking fleur de lis form measuring approximately 9 & 7/8 inches tall, about 6 & 3/4 inches at the widest and 2″ up to 3″ front to back. Marked as pictured on the bottom. There are some small shallow chips/flakes on the two points on the rim and also near the base, please see photos 7,8,9. Some light glaze wear, picture 10, a few glaze skips, pictures 11, 12. Possibly some other glaze wear or glaze skips than what is pictured but minor, if so. Inside has some soil on the bottom and some firing imperfection, bumps and some glazed over separations down in the “arms” of the vase that looks like it was how they formed the shape originally since it’s factory glazed over… Please see the photos. Some bumps and dimples in the glaze and also the typical overall glaze crazing. Some residue is stuck on the bottom foot from contact with painted surfaces over the years. No other damage, no cracks or restoration. The fleur de lis form is somewhat uncommon and an honored traditional symbol of French heritage.
