A superb antique French provincial faience Quimper lidded teapot, circa 1890. The base is signed HB Quimper for the Hubaudière Potteries. This charming tea pot depicts a young Breton woman picking flowers and the opposite side depicts a young man smoking a pipe. It is hand painted with a woodland setting decorated with a garland of forget-me-nots and a polka-dot geometric design on the handle. DIMENSIONS 7.25″W × 3.75″D × 7.5H.
