Up for sale is an extremely rare antique mid 18th century handmade porcelain and bronze French Sceaux box. It’s made of a domed porcelain lid that is painted by hand with a figural landscape scene and an enameled bronze base painted with exquisite floral scenes on all sides. It has a bronze hinge that has acquired a gorgeous patina from age and is signed underneath along with a hallmark. The inside of the lid is also painted with a floral design but was once redone and has cracking to the paint. The box measures 6 1/4 inches long by 4 inches wide by 3 inches tall.
