Offered is this beautiful antique hand painted French faience cabinet plate. Made by one of the factories in the east of France, it could be Les Islettes, Strasbourg, Luneville or Saint Clement in the late 1700’s to the early 1800’s. It features a beautiful planter jardiniere with a large bouquet of multi colored flowers. It also has flower sprays around the scalloped rim. This is a beautiful home decor item. It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has a few spots close to the rim where the white enamel did not cover compleatly. It has stilt marks on the back from the kiln and a few rough spots to the touch which are all normal with antique majolica and faience.
