Offered is this beautiful antique hand painted French Faience plate from the east of France. This plate features a portrait of a beautiful lady in evening or Gala dress in an oval frame with olive branches held with a large red bow. The rim is trimmed in blood red and “combed”. It measures 9.75 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There may have been one very small repair but was well done, which is normal for a plate of this age.
