THIS IS A GORGEOUS SET OF 4 18th CENTURY FRENCH HAND MADE, HAND PAINTED PLATES. These are EXCEPTIONAL ANTIQUE FAIENCE PLATES. This antique plates came from an estate collection of a French lady. She was married to a U. Soldier in the Second World War and came to live here. She brought number of Antiques with her. The plates depicts hand painted deep red flowers, green leafs and red border. The glazing on this plates does show some crazing consistent with age and on some of them chips and crack on the rim. Measurements are: diameter 9. One plate has a small paint flake on the red flower and two small and one bigger chip around the border as shown in the photo. Second plate has number of small chips around the border and one bigger chip on the back around the rim. Third plate has a crack coming down from the rim and some age cracks. Fourth plate is in very good condition! Pieces that are over 200 years old have some normal usage wear and imperfections. Very easy to repair. OVERALL VERY GOOD ANTIQUE ORIGINAL CONDITION!
