Decorated with a hand painted pattern in blue, red, ocher and green with a cornucopia, flowers, birds, and insects. Marked on the base with a castle above Gien in a ribbon. This mark was used between 1866 and 1975. Has crazing typical of faience, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 6 1/4 inches wide x 8 5/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
