Here is a beautiful antique French Faience cabinet plate made by the Sarreguemine Majolica factory in the east of France. The back of the plate calls this series “Marines”, I call it’Rocky Shoreline’ since you see two children, a boy and a girl on a rocky shoreline with a boat in the foreground.
