Wonderful antique pair of faience wall plates from the 19th century. Produced in France, faience de Desvres, decorated by the very famous Freres Fourmaintraux (Fourmaintraux brothers). Absolutely beautifully designed with scalloped and swirl rim and central hand painted polychrome scene in the Renaissance style.
