Offered is this beautiful antique vintage French Faience plate. Made by Emile Tessier who was born in 1887 and died in 1971. He was formed in the Pouplard factory and he opened his own factory in 1924. This is known as Faience of Malicorne. His plate is hand painted and features a colorful blue bird standing on one leg on the fence. This lovely plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It measures 10.5 inches wide.
