A late 1 9 th century Samson vase, in the manner of 18th century Sceaux faience , with a base that features three sea-putti with fishtail legs below a baluster form body that is decorated with floral swags and insects. Palette is in the typical, predominantly deep pink and green. Marked on the bottom. A well-preserved and certainly one-of-a-kind piece of French faience, fau x Sceaux or otherwise.
