VERY RARE set of ONE DOZEN 18th century French faience plates. Each tin-glazed polychrome decorated earthenware plate measures 8.18 in diameter. Atop each plate is a large individually hand-painted basket of flowers. Sitting within a blue border which runs along the scalloped plate edge. All twelve plates have no marks or signature. All in very good antique condition. As is typical of antique faience – most of the plates have several chips and “dings” along their edges. Along with a range of underglaze stains on their backs.
