Antique Vintage French Faience Pottery Malicorne Iris Dinner Plate 9 3/4. Here is a very attractive antique/vintage French faience pottery Malicorne iris pattern dinner plate. It measures about 9 3/4 in diameter. It is in excellent condition overall. There are several superficial glaze flakes to the outer edge, the largest of which measures about 3/16 long. There are kiln marks on the back side, done in the making. There are no other chips or cracks. There is some allover crazing which I think was done intentionally in the making. I don’t see any utensil marks, apparently never used as a dinner plate. There is some darkening to underside edge from tabletop contact. Listing and template services provided by inkFrog.
