Antique 18th / 19th century Delft tin glaze faience tile of large size. Decorated with a full figure of a man or vintner in period costume rolling a wine barrel. Measures 7 3/4 square. Has wooden blocks affixed to the back for hanging. Good condition – has various crazing lines that occurred in the making or original firing of the tile; tight hairline to the back only does not detract.
