Late 19th century French Faience plates. Plates are 6 1/2 in diameter with a blue floral pattern on scallop rim and center black transfers. Markings on plates date from 1884 to 1920.
Set of four hand-painted French faience dinner plates in Gien’s Rambouillet pattern designed by Jean Bertholle features an adorable game bird couple. Marked “Gien France” with the company’s castle mark used from 1989 through the present, and initialed JB. Dimensions: 10.25D.
