Collectible early 19th century French faience plate by Creil. The Neoclassical scene features a black transfer print of Mort d’Annibal or the Death of Hannibal, Rome 569, the original copper engraving drawn by Silvestre David Mirys, engraved by Dambrun c. 1800, surrounded by a grapevine band. Plate is incased in a metal frame for hanging and is impressed Creil. Measures 9 1/4 diameter and is in Excellent antique condition free of chips or cracks, note minor wear to the edges and verge from age, please see all photos.
