These little ladies were intended to serve mustard and are in the form of seated ladies in French Revolutionary dress. Pieces made about 1892 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. The figures are Desvres hand painted faience and 1 is market, other not. Now these figures are highly sought after by collectors. 1000s were made but few have survived and those that did are always unique in detail, with no two exactly alike. 7 1/2 inches high by 3 3/4 inches across at the base.
