18th century French faience charger/shallow bowl. This piece measures approx. 13 3/4 and is in great antique condition with no cracks and no crazing. It has a long shallow glaze kinda chip that is actually beautiful to me and exposes the 1700’s clay used in this piece, which I find fascinating! (see last picture) It has the prettiest white tin glaze I have ever seen on a piece……. Yes, this French beauty is from the 1700’s and is full of history! It rings so wonderfully when tapped.
