Offered is this beautiful antique hand painted French. It is also marked “Vieux Strasbourg, Fait Main” in black over glaze. It features a scalloped and “combed” rim with the central theme of an opened purple tulip, a pivoine flower and with sprays of several other pretty types of flowers and green leaves on a bright white background. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a pin prick in the white enamel on the front as seen in photo and several kiln marks and wear on the back as seen in photo and is normal for antique faience and majolica. It is a nice large piece that measures 9.75 inches in diameter, the perfect size for display or use. This will look beautiful in any room of your home or a great gift.
