It was made in the Art Deco era, and has a typical Art Deco style to it. It depicts Saint Mary and Baby Jesus. It has been hand painted with lovely soft colors. The back is not glazed. It is marked on the bottom with the GB, Desvres, France. Height: about 5 3/4 inch / 15.5 cm. Some very minimal surface wear (mainly to the unglazed back) no chips, cracks or restores.
