Galle Cat French Faience Pottery Antique. Item : This is an antique French Faience model of a comical cat. It is seated and is wearing a headscarf over a pink floral coat which is painted with flowers. There is a pendant with a portrait of a dog around its neck. The eyes are made of glass. It is signed E Galle, Nancy on the base. Size : Approx :33.5 cm Age : Around 1900 Maker : Emile Galle Condition : There is a nick above an eye. Glaze nicks to cat’s right ear and some on its front paws. Small manufacturing split to a front paw. Part of the green colouring on one eye is missing.
