These cruches are still only made in the area around Castelnaudary, Pezenas, Meynes… This one is a beauty from very end of 19thC. It has its original lid and wonderful glaze with flames of different hues of yellow. It is interesting to note that after the Beaucaire Cruche was created, each region made their own variation so as to show the differences and ingenuity of each area.
