What a fabulous little French faience box! Blue with copper, green yellow and pink. The box is hand painted with birds or barn swallow, and a floral, foliate design. All four sides have painted birds as well one on the cover or lid another within a small medallion. The interior is all original with its tufted silk lining. 4 3/8 x 4 3/8 x 3 high. Condition is good but not perfect we have noticed a scratch on the front panel that someone tried to conceal(not by me) please see photo # 4. Some loss of paint around the bottom edges. Crazing noticed on the bottom white porcelain. All tolled one beautiful decorative box.
