This plate is part of a larger collection of plates from the estate of a French lady. She was from Provence and collected the faience of France. This plate is a nice issue of the Moustiers factory. It probably dates f=to the beginning of the XXth century. The Moustiers made faience in the 18. Century, then stopped in the 19. Century and restarted in the 20. The plate is marked on the back Décor Moustiers Fait Main with the J O mark of Joseph Olery and AU underneath which may mean the person who painted this in the early 1900s. The plate is in wonderful condition, with no crazing or chips and just the pottery marks for glazing on the back. Measurements are: diameter is 10 ½m height is 1.
