Porcelain plate French FAIENCE SCEAUX 1777 Hand decorated PARIS. This set is a reissue of the original design, CIRCA 1900. About the original issue– plate that is signed on the back Sceaus 1777. The faience and porcelain factory founded about 1749 by an architect namened de Bay at Sceaux, near Paris. The painted decoration is of a high order. The factory closed in 1794. This plate has a white background with black and yellow colors. It is in very good condition for its age. Last photo, small stain on back of the plate.
